Connected Learning
Learning in today's world means engaging in complex networks of learning, facilitated by digital technologies and social media. Connected learners navigate, create, interact and share with peers in interest-powered, constantly evolving communities with common purpose (Ito et al., 2013).
Exploring the concepts underpinning the emergent theory of Connected Learning, I have mapped an existing connected learning environment.
To critically evaluate the chosen connected learning environment, I identify and justify key features against the Connected Learning Framework (Ito et al., 2013, p.12) and discuss risks and opportunities within the community (Oddone, 2018).
I then apply Connected Learning principles to develop my own Professional Learning Network through social media and internet technologies, and evaluate my progress and processes against relevant literature.
